Working groups have been formed to develop solutions to industry-wide health and safety issues. The working groups in progress are noted below. Once a working group has completed their task the outcomes from the group are published as guidelines.
A: Yes. You have up to 3 months to complete your onboarding. If it's not completed within this timeframe, your profile will be archived and you may need to restart the process. Get in touch if you need help with your onboarding by emailing support@jnctn.nz
A: The requirement of the SCT applies to all workers being granted unsupervised access to operational areas across generation sites. However, there is an exception for delivery drivers who are solely dropping off goods, equipment, or products. If this is the extent of your organisation’s activity on site, SCT onboarding is not required.
A: No, this subscription cost should be included as part of your standard operating expenses. It is not reimbursable separately.
A: No, a PO will not be provided. The subscription fee should be incorporated into your ongoing operational budgeting and cost structures.
A: All personnel who require access to the SCT platform will need an individual subscription. This applies to any person engaged to work on Generation Assets or requiring unsupervised access to Generation sites. It also includes the requirement to have at least one SCT Administrator for your organisation, which can be a generation industry worker or another employee of your organisation.
A: Yes. All users who have access to the SCT,whether for on-site verification or for admin only purposes via the portal willrequire an active subscription and will need to pay the annual fee. Thisincludes admin-only users who manage workers, credentials, and organisationaldata.
A: Contractors are responsible for managing and funding the subscription directly. JNCTN (the company that powers the SCT) will invoice you directly based on the numbers of subscriptions you require. Their terms are yearly, payable in advance. Refer JNCTN Terms (www.jnctn.nz/terms). This cost should be treated like any other recurring operational cost or license your team uses to deliver services.
A: No, each individual subscription is tied to the person, not the specific generator or client. If a contractor works with multiple generators, only one subscription per person is required, and it can be used across all relevant engagements.
A: We give you the first 30 days free. This period commences from the date you register your company in the SCT, or yourself if you are an individual. This free month is to give you time to set up your people and their credentials. We will invoice you at the end of this period based on the number of people you have in the system, so please use this time to create profiles for all your people. If you think your registration period will take longer than a month, please contact JNCTN at accounts@jnctn.nz to discuss billing options.
