Callum Dimond, Renewables Generation Manager, Pioneer Energy (StayLive Co-Chair)

As the Renewables Generation Manager at Pioneer Energy, I oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of our Hydro and Wind generation assets. Since joining the StayLive group in May 2022, I have been dedicated to leveraging the expertise, resources, and insights across the StayLive network to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for both Pioneer Energy and the wider generation industry.

Richard Luoni, North Island Health & Safety Manager, Contact Energy (StayLive Co-Chair)

I bring over 20 years of frontline and regulatory experience across high risk industries, spanning maritime and energy. My career began at sea, working globally in offshore supply, commercial and charter fishing, workboats, and emergency response—roles where safety isn’t theoretical, it’s lived. I then spent a decade shoreside with Maritime New Zealand in senior regulatory and leadership roles, including Specialist Investigator and Regulatory Operations Manager. That experience exposed me to the real consequences of poor systems, weak leadership, and inconsistent practices—and it shaped my strong drive to help organisations do better. Today, working in the energy sector, I focus on practical, collaborative health and safety improvement. I believe industries succeed when we cut through duplication, reduce confusion, and align on what good looks like.

I have witnessed the attitudes towards Safety and Wellness grow as we mature as an industry and I strongly believe in the benefits to be gained in collaborating across our industry.
