Guidelines

Guidelines are the published outcomes from the working groups. They aim to improve practices and consistency across the electricity industry.

Working Alone

Working alone is defined as performing a work activity by any person where that person cannot be seen or heard by others and assistance is not readily available. This may include working in remote or isolated sites.

Overview

A StayLive working group was formed to develop common guidelines for working alone. A common approach turned out to be impractical. Instead, a generic recommended approach has been documented and includes a risk-based approach to a number of scenarios.
