Working Groups

Working groups have been formed to develop solutions to industry-wide health and safety issues. The working groups in progress are noted below. Once a working group has completed their task the outcomes from the group are published as guidelines.

WCP Video Competition - Rules, Entry Requirements and Conditions

Eligibility

  • Open to StayLive member company staff and contractors.
  • You can submit as an individual or team.
  • The only compensation for submitting a video is the opportunity to be awarded a prize. No other payments will be made in relation to the competition or any subsequent training content.

How to Enter

  • Share your video via WeTransfer directly from your phone. It's free and you don't need to sign up.
  • Use title: WCP Video Comp + your name
  • Use message field to state: Your name, phone number, company, WCP role, nominee (if relevant), option being entered.
  • Send to email: rachel@brownfield.co.nz
  • Verify email with sent code if required.

What to include in your video

  • All videos must begin with introduction or the speaker(s) - to include name, company and WCP roles practiced.
  • No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this competition unless you own the copyright, have a license to use the material or other necessary permission.

Intellectual Property

  • By submitting an entry into the competition, you are agreeing to the content being used by StayLive for training purposes.
  • Any content selected for use by StayLive training or news purposes will be subject to the specific company authorisation process before being made public.

Any of the following options:
  1. Me and My WCP Role - tell us about yourself and how you interact with the WCP system.
  2. WCP Ambassador - nominate someone and tell us why they are awesome.
  3. Communication is Key - tell us about a time when communication could have been better and what happened, what can we do better.

Judging will be carried out by the WCP group and their decision will be based on the following:
Criteria Weighting
The ability to tell the story. 10
The video quality (sound, visibility etc.) 10
How entertaining or thought-provoking the video is 10
How well aligned to one of the three themes the video is 10
Originality 10

Prizes

  • Three category winners - NZ Experience of your Choice for two via Chuffed Experience Box. Featuring up to 50 experiences from all over New Zealand. From massage treatments to sunset sails, adventurous outdoors activities, to food and wine experiences - there is something for everyone. Valid for 2 years.
  • Three category runners up - A morning tea for your team (direct team to be agreed with reporting manager).
Entrants agree to be bound by the official competition rules and decisions of the judges.
