Training & Competency Working Group

To Review, Refine and Promote the StayLive Training & Competency framework

Latest News

  • The working group has met twice and is now busy reviewing the previously published Training & Competency guideline and Competency Matrix. The original guideline that explains the 'Work Ready - Work Capable' framework can be found here
  • We have met with JNCTN who are the providers of the Competency Card. To date they have developed the Competency Card to collect evidence of training completion ('Work Ready') and require this working group to provide input into how we use the card to show ('Work Capable') More information on the Competency Card can be found here.

The Opportunity

The Training & Competency working group has been re-livened for review and refresh. With recent progression of the new Competency Card StayLive recognised the need to revisit the previously delivered Training & Competency guideline to ensure it remains complimentary and that it provides the required guidance towards the 'Work Ready - Work Capable' framework that the Competency Card will leverage.

Outcomes and Benefits

  • Industry alignment and recognition of worker competency.
